MOSTLY
NOTHING.
I do a lot of research. Most of the time, I do nothing.
Real money, dated decisions, and a lot of waiting.
What’s new.
The latest things I thought were worth writing down. Living company pages can move with the evidence; dated pieces stay attached to what I knew at the time.
Where would I put the next dollar?
A lower price can make something more interesting, but it does not automatically deserve more money. I still compare it with what I already own, the index, and whatever else the same dollar could do.
Did any of this actually add value?
TWR asks whether the investments beat VOO after stripping out deposit timing. The matched-deposit result asks the more personal question: did all these decisions leave me with more money than just buying VOO on the same dates?
Mostly Nothing, when there is actually something to say.
Usually about once a week. Research notes, portfolio decisions, reviews and thesis updates—the useful stuff that comes out of doing the work, whether or not I traded that week.
