INFQ — Infleqtion
Quantum without pretending a cool technology is automatically a good stock
Infleqtion builds neutral-atom quantum computing and quantum sensing systems. This is exactly the kind of company where it is incredibly easy to get hypnotized by the technology and forget I own a stock. So I care about logical qubits, real contracts, customer conversion and runway. Cool demos are nice. Shareholder economics are the job.
Quantum can turn into science fiction as an investment thesis incredibly fast. “This technology is cool” is not enough. Infleqtion gets a slot because there are actual customers, government contracts and technical milestones underneath the story, which is a much better place to start.
Why I care about this one
Infleqtion is a neutral-atom quantum platform spanning computing, sensing and software. The upside is that neutral atoms become one of the architectures that actually scales toward useful fault-tolerant systems while the sensing side provides nearer-term commercial/government demand.
Updated Q2 revenue was $13.5M, up 157% year over year, with FY2026 guidance around $45.1M. More interestingly, on September 24 the company said it achieved 30 entangled logical qubits on Sqale using 80 physical qubits — a real roadmap milestone, not just another partnership press release.

Two things improved at the same time. Updated Q2 revenue is $13.5M with FY2026 guidance around $45.1M, and on Sep. 24 Infleqtion hit 30 logical qubits on Sqale using 80 physical qubits. That is real de-risking. It is also still a long way from 'therefore shareholders make money.'

Valuation & scenario math
The risk cap is 3%. There is no sane P/E framework here. I size it around probability-weighted outcomes, runway, dilution risk and whether the technical/commercial evidence is improving; the live snapshot above owns the current weight.
Technical milestones + commercial contracts + runway
No static price band. Logical-qubit progress, customer conversion and dilution/runway decide whether this deserves more capital. The stock being down would be the least interesting reason to add.
This is probability-weighted because pretending a normal earnings multiple makes sense here would be ridiculous. Better revenue helps, but the big variables are still technical milestones, customer conversion, cash runway and how much of the company existing holders still own by the time the story works.
| Case | What has to be true | Target range | Annualized return from today |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bear | Roadmap progress stalls, commercial conversion disappoints and financing/dilution becomes the dominant equity story. | $4.00–$8.00 center ~$6.00 | -24.0% |
| Base | Logical-qubit progress continues, sensing/computing contracts scale and the company reaches milestones without destructive financing. | $22–$30 center ~$26 | +19.9% |
| Bull | Neutral atoms emerge as a leading architecture and commercial/government adoption accelerates materially. | $40–$60 center ~$50 | +46.9% |
Returns use the current quote and the time remaining to Dec 31, 2029. The scenario targets stay fixed until the underwriting changes.
Capital allocation
Thirty logical qubits earns real credit. The runway still has to buy something commercially useful.
The 30-logical-qubit milestone is meaningful technical progress and the balance sheet provides runway. I still take a lot off because the company is loss-making, commercialization is early and future financing or warrant dilution can easily dominate the per-share outcome.
Stage-relative, not some objective rating-agency grade. The number is there to force the judgment into the open. See the rubric →
What management is actually doing with the cash
Every dollar here is basically R&D runway, commercialization runway or dilution risk. I want the money buying milestones that make the technology more credible and the customer pipeline more real. Raising capital is not automatically bad for a company this early. Raising it over and over without meaningfully de-risking the business absolutely is.
What I’m doing with the next dollar
A cool press release by itself is not much of a reason for me to add. What would change the sizing is the milestones continuing to stack: logical qubits, actual workloads, customers, contracts and enough runway for any of it to matter.
What can break this
There is a giant gap between “wow, that is technically impressive” and “existing shareholders make money.” Roadmaps slip, commercialization takes forever, competition is brutal, cash burn matters and dilution can quietly take a very large bite out of the upside.
A stalled roadmap, weak customer conversion, deteriorating cash runway or repeated financing that shifts the upside away from existing holders would matter. Quantum hype cooling off would not bother me if the actual milestones stay on track.
This is exactly the kind of thing that can be enormous and still deserve a tiny position.
So yes, quantum. No, not the whole portfolio 😂.
The evidence I’m watching
Sqale keeps moving toward the 100-logical-qubit roadmap, government and commercial contracts turn into repeat revenue, sensing contributes meaningful nearer-term cash generation, and the company reaches those milestones without destructive dilution.
Logical-qubit progress stalls, the technical wins do not turn into paying workloads, cash burn accelerates, government programs slip, or financing and warrants become the main per-share story.
